Tony Low is a successful Malaysian-Singaporean entrepreneur with business interests in Vietnam and Australia. His wife, Ashley, is a banker with BNP Paribas and was previously an RHB bank manager in Malaysia.
After an unsuccessful brain operation for cancer, staunch Buddhist Tony Low experienced failure in three vital organs (brain, kidneys, and lungs). Doctors at Pantai Medical Center asked Ashley to sign a consent form to switch off his life-support machines. Ashley, who had become a Christian three years ago, refused and requested prayers from other believers. Pastor James Doss told her that she had to destroy her husband’s idols. Reluctant at first, she complied when another of Tony’s organs failed.
